Little Bellas brings together girls ages 7 to 13 with female mentors in our programs which use mountain biking as a vehicle to teach the importance of teamwork, goal-setting, and fostering a healthy lifestyle. In weekly summer sessions or multi-day camps, mentors and girls ride together at local trail networks, focusing on improving skills as well as participating in team-building activities.

The program is organized around a curriculum that builds upon previous skills, and girls are broken up into groups based on age and ability. After the group ride, the groups participate in games that incorporate that day's skill focus. Each session or camp includes the ever important snack. Bingham Cyclery is proud to be the exclusive bike shop in supporting the Utah Chapter of Little Bellas. The national Little Bellas organization was inspired by Shannon Casson’s enthusiasm to bring the program to the Park City, UT area. Based on her involvement in the local cycling community and particular commitment to the development of youths cycling, Shannon was an ideal candidate to get the program rolling.

The Park City Program offers recurring sessions throughout the spring and fall to allow each girl to make new friends and learn to love the sport of mountain biking.  Girls and mentors will ride once a week and work on a skills mountain bike progression.  These girls will be given healthy challenges in a friendly, fun environment.  This program is not focused on competition. The program includes an end of season party, a Primal jersey, goodie bag, and snacks.
