BC Loves Community Programs
With four locations along the Wasatch Front, we get to call many communities "ours." We believe in strengthening the fabric of the local community and to bringing the joy of riding into the hands of many. Add hundreds of miles of prime singletrack and endless rural roads and you get a pretty fantastic place to call home!
From countless hours volunteering at major cycling events, races and other venues, to donations of product and funds to local non-profit agencies and youth groups, Bingham Cyclery has had a long history of giving back to the community since 1962. That led us to create the BC Loves Community programs that support nonprofits and individuals looking to better our cycling community.
Bingham Cyclery continues to be committed to the causes of charitable organizations throughout the Wasatch Front. In keeping with our goals we only donate to 501(c)3 organizations that encourage cycling as a lifestyle for all, getting more kids on bikes, and trail building, advocacy and maintenance. During the months of March through September, we select a nonprofit for each region (Salt Lake Valley and Weber/Davis County) to fundraise on behalf of at our shops via our BC Loves Community Nonprofit program. Each nonprofit is highlighted for 4 weeks and customers are invited to donate at their time of purchase to that nonprofit’s cause. At the end of the fundraising period, Bingham Cyclery will collect all donated funds and provide a match at 50% of what was earned in product donations.

If you are an individual or a group representative looking for a financial or product donation, please note that we receive an extraordinary amount of requests for cash and in-kind contributions, numbering many more than we can accommodate. Specifically, our BC Loves Community programs support endeavors that:
Encourage cycling as a lifestyle for all
Getting more kids on bikes
Trail building, advocacy and maintenance
Programs and projects that we cannot support are:
Individual participation fundraisers (walk-a-thons, Team-in-Training, Relay for Life, etc.)
In-kind donations offered for raffles, prizes or incentives unless they focus on getting more kids on bikes and trail building, advocacy and maintenance.
Political or religious groups
Employee health incentive programs and events
