Because flat tires don't take days off.

Flat Prevention Program

Utah is beautiful… and covered in goatheads

Nothing kills a great ride faster than a flat tire.

Our Flat Prevention Plan is designed to keep you rolling day after day — because the best ride is the one that gets you there without a hitch. Available on all new bikes purchased at Bingham Cyclery, each plan bundles Tannus tire liners, sealant, and professional installation into one simple, upfront investment. It's the triple-threat combo that gives you serious flat protection before you ever leave the shop.

Goathead country

These thorns line nearly every trail, canal path, and bike lane along the Wasatch Front — and they're built to find tires.

Flats steal rides

A puncture means a roadside repair at best and a walk home at worst. Either way, your ride is over. And your joy factor is zero.

Protection that's already on

With the program, your defense is installed before your first ride. You'll forget it's even there — until you ride past someone fixing a flat.

STEP ONE

Buy your bike

Pick out your new ride at
any Bingham Cyclery location or online.

Step two

Add your size

Every program is matched to
your tire size. Buying online? It's listed in the bike's specs. Bike in hand? It's printed on the tire sidewall. Either way — or if you'd rather not think about it — we'll match it for you.

STEP THREE

We install, you ride

Our technicians install Tannus liners and add sealant before your bike goes home with you. Professional
install is included — this isn't a DIY kit.

Included in every package

  • Tannus Armour tire liners (both wheels)
  • Tire sealant (both wheels)
  • Professional installation by our technicians

Available with any new bike purchase at Bingham Cyclery — and yes, we can add it to a bike you already own. Just bring it in.

Find Your Size

Flat Prevention Program – Size Chart

Find your size, add it to your cart

Finding your tire size takes about ten seconds:

  • Buying a bike online? Scroll to the Specifications section on the bike's product page — the tire size is listed there (it looks like 29 x 2.20 or 700 x 40c). Match the wheel size and width range below.
  • Bike in front of you? The size is printed on the tire sidewall.
  • Rather not bother? Add the program that looks closest — we always confirm fit during installation and will swap you to the correct size.

FAQ

How do I know which size to pick?

Buying online: every bike on our site lists its tire size in the Specifications section of the product page (it looks like 29 x 2.20 or
700 x 40c). Match the wheel size and width range in the chart above. Bike in hand: the size is printed right on the tire sidewall. Still unsure? Pick the closest match — our techs verify fit on every installation and will swap to the correct size at no charge. Or call 888.611.BIKE and we'll match it before your bike is prepped.

Can I add this to a bike I already own?

Absolutely. The program is
designed for new bikes, but our techs can outfit nearly any bike. Bring it to
any Bingham Cyclery location.

Will it change how my bike rides?

Tannus liners add a small amount of weight, but most riders never notice. What you will notice: the confidence of rolling over debris that used to mean a flat.

What if I still get a flat?

The program dramatically reduces punctures, but no system is 100% bulletproof. If something does get through, bring it in — our service team will get you rolling again fast.

How long does installation take?

When you buy the program with a new bike, we typically install everything before the bike leaves the shop. Adding it to an existing bike? Ask your location about same-day
turnaround.

Does it work with tubes or tubeless?

Our techs will match the right Tannus setup to your wheels either way — just tell us what you're running (or let us look).
